
The retired Navy personnel were arrested in mid-September and their questioning led to the arrest of the serving officer. The five people were arrested after the central probe agency carried out raids at 19 locations in Delhi, Noida and Visakhapatnam among others and seized several electronic gadgets and other incriminating materials which are being scrutinised. The serving Navy officer accused of sharing the classified information is currently posted in Mumbai and holds the rank of Commander. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested the commander-rank Navy officer and four others for allegedly leaking classified information pertaining to the modernisation of a Navy's Kilo-class submarine. New Delhi: A serving Indian Navy personnel, accused of sharing confidential information to retired officers, has been arrested along with two retired officers and two others.


The hardware and date accessed by the arrested officer are also being looked into.
